About us
We are an architectural practice bringing a different approach to designing and building in Western Australia. While our focus is always on great architecture, we see prefabrication as a smart way to deliver it. Do you agree?
If you do, we’re off to a great start.
Is prefab for you?
Prefabrication offers a more predictable, cost-effective and sustainable way to build - and the good news is that it doesn’t mean your project has to be ordinary or “off-the-shelf”. While most prefab projects start with a factory, we start with you.
How we work
We specialise in custom designed prefabricated architecture. Every project begins with you: what matters to you (and more importantly, what doesn’t), how you live, work and play, and how your life interacts with the environment around you.
Who we like working with
We know this method of building isn’t for everyone - it takes a certain person to get excited about buildings made in factories. But for those like you who are open-minded and see the potential in prefabrication in the same way we do, get in touch to see how we can help you.
Our values
Design first, factory second
Design for cost certainty
Design with intention
“Jemma has been helping us navigate the world of prefabrication in some of our residential projects - her Feasibility Studies are detailed, transparent and not necessarily always good news, which is a testament to her honest, no-nonsense approach.”

Our design process
-
From the beginning, we test whether a prefabricated approach will work for you and your site. Early testing provides a level of certainty about using this method of delivery before we move onto the next stages of design. We don’t recommend skipping this step.
-
We take the time to find out what you’re planning - we want to know how you live, work or play, what you value and where your building is going to be. These conversations form the backbone of the design.
-
As we develop your concept design, prefabrication principles are applied from day one. We work openly with our industry consultants and connections to ensure the concept we develop for you is sustainable, buildable, transportable and achievable within budget.
-
Once your concept design is heading in the right direction, the next step is to prepare drawings for a Planning Approval with your local council. If approval is granted, more detailed drawings can then be developed to enable lump-sum pricing by a prefabrication supplier.
-
We can assist you in getting your project priced by several prefabrication suppliers - not just one - giving you greater choice, flexibility and cost control, with minimal compromise to the design.
-
As you start to work with your preferred supplier, we’re happy to stay in the picture. Our role here would be to review construction drawings and check on progress of the build in the manufacturing yard to make sure your project stays true to the original design intent.
If you would like to find out more about how we work, would like to discuss your project in some more detail or you just want to learn a little more about prefabrication, get in touch to schedule an informal consult.
